Live 2020 campaign update: Akufo-Addo moves to centre; Mahama stays north

With 10 days to the December 7 elections, candidates are campaigning vigorously to win the electorate to their side.

President Nana Akufo-Addo began a 3-day tour of the Central Region on Thursday, November 26.

The flagbearer of the governing NPP who is seeking a second term is expected to visit Budumburam, Awutu Breku, Agona Swedru, Agona Nsaba, and Effutu.

His closest contender, former President John Dramani Mahama has moved to the Northern Region after completing tours of the Upper East Region.

He has been to Bimbilla, Wulensi and Yendui. His first call was at the Palace of the Yaa Naa.

The other aspirants are spread across the country as they make last-minute efforts to break the dominance of the two main political parties.
