NDC probes Challenges with nominations at Ayawaso West Wuogon

 The Greater Accra Regional branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) says investigations have commenced into challenges associated with the nomination forms of all three Parliamentary Candidates of the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency.

The three aspirants, John Dumelo, Frederick Nuamah, and Moses Baafi Acheampong were expected to have faced the vetting committee on Monday, however, the vetting was suspended until further notice.

Briefing the media on the development, the Secretary of the Greater Accra Regional branch of the NDC and member of the vetting committee, Theophilus Tetteh Chaie said the committee is waiting for further directives from national leadership to determine the next line of action for the constituency.

Meanwhile, 39 NDC Parliamentary aspirants in various constituencies in the Greater Accra region have been vetted.

The vetting which started on Monday has seen the approval of 26 aspirants and one disqualification.
