Late Nollywood actress, Ada Ameh, will be laid to rest in her home state, Benue on August 26.
In funeral arrangements announced by her family, there will be a novelty match and candlelight service in her honor on Friday, August 19, 2022, in Lagos.
That will be followed by another candlelight service in Benue, on Thursday, August 25 before her remains will be interred at her family’s compound on Friday, August 26.
Ameh died on Sunday, July 17, 2022, at the age of 48.
According to several reports, the actress was said to have been a guest of an oil company’s top shot and his family when she suddenly slumped during a gathering.
She was reportedly rushed to the NNPC hospital in Warri, Delta State, where she was confirmed dead.
A few weeks before her untimely death, the actress reportedly revealed that she was going through some mental health issues.
Ada lost her only child back in 2020 after a surgery gone wrong. Many believe that was the genesis of her mental health issues and subsequently her sad death.
