NPP outlines protocols for orphan constituencies parliamentary primaries
The governing New Patriotic Party(NPP) has relayed some guidelines for the ophan constituencies’ parliamentary primaries scheduled for Saturday, December 2, 2023.
A statement issued by the party and signed by its general secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong on November 23 indicated that the protocols will ensure integrity and fairness in the electoral process.
Moreover, to maintain uniformity and consistency, the party recommended that constituency parliamentary election committees use the same venues for the recently ended presidential election.
Constituency Executive Committees were also advised to engage in discussions with their respective Regional Executive Committees should a change of venue be necessary.
Additionally, Regional Executive Committees were requested to promptly notify the national party of any such change by Monday, November 27, 2023.
