NPP To Hold Parliamentary Primaries On September 10

The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has set Sunday, September 10, 2023, for its parliamentary primaries.

A statement signed by the party’s general secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong, said this comes after the National Council approved convening an extraordinary constituency delegates conference in 17 constituencies.

Ahead of the conference, the party will vet parliamentary aspirants on Friday, September 8.

The constituencies include Suaman, Anlo, North Dayi, Nadowli/Kaleo, Sagnarigu, Kumbungu, Builsa North, Pusiga, Ada and Bolgatanga East.

The rest are Tema East, La Dadekotopon, Buem, Biakoye, Amenfi West, New Edubiase, and Upper Manya Krobo.

All regional executive committees are to ensure the successful vetting of all aspirants.
