Officials of Asante Kotoko attacked, sacked from CAM Park during Karela United match

There has been an incident at CAM Park in Anyinase during the Ghana Premier League match between Karela United and Asante Kotoko.

Information coming in indicates that officials and the media team of the Porcupine Warriors have been attacked and sacked from the stadium.

This has been confirmed by Asante Kotoko in an official club statement.

“We, unfortunately, cannot continue the text commentary as our media person and other officials of the club have been attacked and driven out of the stadium,” a post on the Twitter page of the reds said on Thursday afternoon.

Some 80 minutes into the clash between Karela United and Asante Kotoko, the home team is leading by a goal to nil.
