Ghanaian Rapper, Samuel Adu Frimpong, popularly known as Medikal, and actress, Fella Makafui, on Saturday cemented their ‘hide-and-seek’ relationship with a traditional marriage ceremony.
The ceremony was held at Adjiringanor in Accra.
Rumours of the couple getting married traversed social media a little over a week ago, with some fans wishing them good tidings.
Others were, however, sceptical, pointing to their history of publicity stunts.
But on Saturday, Fella cleared the perception when she posted pictures and videos of their traditional marriage on her Instagram page.
Parents of both Medikal and Fella Makafui, as well as friends of the couple, attended the simple but glamorous event. Among the notable celebrity faces in the guests was dance hall musician, Shatta Wale.
On her day of joy, Fella was decked in a multicoloured kente with long-flowing hair. The groom was also in a long flowing blue ‘agbada’ and wore his iconic golden hair.
In January, there were rumours of the couple’s break up. However, Medikal, in an emotional tweet, promised that he was willing to be a better man for Fella.
