Ghanaian football player Joseph Paintsil has praised his connection with his new teammate Riqui Puig of Los Angeles Galaxy FC.
The two have only played together for three games so far, since Paintsil’s transfer to Major League Soccer during the winter transfer window.
Despite the brief time playing together, Paintsil has scored a goal and provided an assist in his first three games for LA Galaxy, including a goal against San Jose Earthquakes. On his debut against Inter Miami, he won a penalty that Puig missed.
Paintsil has described his partnership with Puig as a great connection, saying it feels like they have been playing together for a whole season already. Paintsil may also be included in the Ghana squad for upcoming friendlies against Uganda and Nigeria in Morocco.
