The Kpando Divisional Command of the Ghana Police service has seized an undisclosed number of sacks suspected to be Indian hemp in the Volta Region.
The police interception happened earlier today, January 13, 2023, following an alert.
ACP Larvor of the Kpando Divisional Command confirmed this incident and was monitored by The Ghana Report on Citi News.
According to the Divisional Commander, investigations are currently ongoing to know the perpetrators behind the intercepted materials containing the India Hemp.
ACP Larvor also noted that the police in the Municipality are on patrol to make more arrests.
