President Akufo-Addo resumes tour to Volta region on Monday

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will on Monday, November 4 resume his national tour by visiting the Volta region.

The visit has been slated for November 4th to November 5th, 2019.

Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah who disclosed this during the mid-week briefs Wednesday morning, revealed the President will kick start his tour from the Ho Central Constituency.

At Ho Constituency, the President is expected to meet with the regional Council on matters concerning the constituency.

The President will then depart to Adaklu, Aflao and Akin to inspect infrastructural projects as well as attend theatre anniversary of the Akatsi District Assembly.

Again, he is expected to grace a durbar of the people of Aflao as part of his tour.

Still, in the Volta Region, the President will on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, interact with students, teachers of selected Senior High Schools in Ho and Vakpo.

He will also attend durbars in Elukope, Kpeve and commission a dormitory block for the Vakpo Senior High School

He is expected to also visit the Volta Star Styles Limited and lay a foundation stone for the railway project which is now been expanded to some other parts of the enclave.
Information Minister reiterated the need for the President to go on these tours.

“These regional tours provide an “opportunity to hear firsthand from the people and observe for himself the progress of work.”

The President will return to Accra on the night of November 5, 2019.
