Gospel artiste Joyce Blessing has said gospel singers are the most criticized in the music industry, following consistent negative comments against her.
If not handled properly, she said the criticisms could make one lose faith and backslide.
“People are judgmental of gospel musicians, and it is because gospel artistes, through no fault of theirs, are the eye of the people,” she said.
Popularly known and called Unbreakable, the gospel singer has recently come under a barrage of criticisms over rumours about her collapsed marriage and infidelity.
‘Through the sufficient grace of God, I was able to withstand all the challenges,” she said in an interview on UTV’s Atuu.
Joyce Blessing and her ex-husband, Dave Joy, went through a messy divorce last year.
It was alleged that Dave was not the biological father of some of the children after a paternity test proved negative.
