Sarkodie receives heavy trolls on Twitter for ‘fake’ UN Leadership Award

Some Ghanaian public officials and celebrities are receiving trolls on the world-acclaimed home of social media savagery, Twitter,  for allegedly receiving fake awards in the name of the United Nations (UN) and the Kofi Annan Foundation.

Rapper Sarkodie was among a tall list of recipients that included Berla Mundi, D-Black, and the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ghana amongst others who were given honorary awards under the theme: UN Kofi Annan Global Excellence In Leadership Award Trophy, 7th Global Leadership Service to Humanity award.

But the BET award winner seems to be the person receiving lots of backlash on Twitter after the award ceremony for allowing himself to be deceived by one Dr Kwame Owusu Fordjour, who claimed to be a UN representative.
