Thomas Partey given permission to explore transfer to Saudi Arabia
Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey has been given permission to explore transfer to the Saudi Pro League according to reports in England.
The Black Stars midfielder joined the Gunners in 2020 from Spanish La Liga side Atletico Madrid.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has also added that the Black Stars deputy captain has offers from other clubs in Europe as Arsenal is not negotiating to renew his contract that is set to expire in 2025.
Thomas Partey was instrumental for Arsenal in the just ended 2022/23 season but his form dipped in the last 10 games as the Gunners fell short in their Premier League title pursuit, finishing second as Manchester City claimed a third consecutive title.
Thomas Partey’s midfield partner Granit Xhaka is also likely to join Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen.
Partey has featured for Mikel Arteta’s side in three seasons now, with the last one the most productive.
The midfielder has played 81 Premier League games for Arsenal, scoring five goals and provided three assists.
