Two persons have been arrested in connection with the killing of a US national near Cape Coast in the Central Region.
In a statement released on Sunday, April 21, the police identified the suspects as Wisdom Sete, a Togolese national, and Yussif Afrim.
The arrests were made on Friday, April 19, at Assin Praso in the Central Region.
Preliminary investigations suggest that Wisdom Sete, who is believed to be the deceased’s fiancé, conspired with Yussif Afrim in the alleged murder of Naomi Jehubiyah.
The police have deposited the remains of the deceased at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital for preservation and autopsy.
Additionally, two vehicles belonging to the deceased were recovered from the suspects, who are currently in police custody, aiding further investigations.
