Volta Region to host 1st Regional Town Hall Meeting
The Ministry of Information is ready for its first Regional Town Hall Meeting for 2019 which will take place at the G.M. Afeti Auditorium of the Ho Technical University on Friday, June 28, 2019.
According to a statement signed by Pius Enam Hadzide, Deputy Minister of Information, the Town Hall Meetings serve as a platform for the dissemination of information on major government policies, projects and programs, and also offers the citizenry an opportunity to engage with Government officials.
The Volta Regional Town Hall Meeting shall also offer all the 18 MMDCEs an opportunity to give an account of the developmental projects within their various MMDAs to the good people of the Volta Region.
Minister of Education, Matthew Opoku Prempeh; the Minister of Health, Kweku Agyemang Manu; the Minister of Gender, Cynthia Morrison and the CEO of NABCO, Dr. Ibrahim Anyars among others are expected to make presentations on Government’s investments in human capital and Social Interventions.
The Volta Regional Town Hall Meeting is in collaboration with the Volta Regional Coordinating Council.
