Work resumes on Ho Youth Resource Centre ahead of Independence Day celebration
The contractor of the Ho Youth Resource Centre, Wilkado Construction Company Limited has resumed work on the facility ahead of the 2023 Independence Day Celebration.
A sod cutting on July 10, 2018, saw the edifice later being abandoned and left at the mercy of the weather despite nearing completion.
Some of the seats were getting broken with the metals also rusting as the unwanted grasses became the breeding ground for reptiles and other unfriendly animals.
This year’s Independence Day celebration is set to be held in Ho as hundreds of schools and security services are expected to line up at the youth resource center for the anniversary.
A visit to the site this week has revealed that the contractor has since returned to work.
Tantra tracks have been cleared with other finishing touches steadily progressing. The contractor is determined to do a lot of work on the facility before the Independence Day celebration.
