A young man has threatened to rob the Bank of Ghana (BoG) with some of his colleagues.
In a video that has gone viral on Twitter, the unidentified man could be heard sending a warning to the Ghana Police Service and the military that his gang will carry out a surprise attack at the Bank of Ghana with guns and other powerful ammunition to retrieve all the piled money in the central bank.
It is unknown when or where the video was recorded, but he could be heard in the Twi language about his intended actions.
He said: “Tell all the police and soldiers in Ghana that I am coming to the Bank of Ghana with my squad to steal. So they should prepare. The guns and other weapons we have gathered will help us take all the money there. I will not tell you when I will come, so you must be alert.”
