Al Hilal has threatened to sue Imoro Ibrahim for breach of contract

Sudanese giants Al Hilal Football Club has issued a stern warning to Imoro Ibrahim, raising the stakes in a contract dispute.

With tensions escalating, the club has openly declared its intention to pursue legal action, vowing to sue Ibrahim for what they allege is a blatant breach of contract.

Imoro according to reports allegedly violated their contracts on Tuesday, July 4, which resulted in the termination of his contract. Al-Hilal Club declares that it rejects the player’s justifications and that it would file a lawsuit.

Imoro, who had served as Asante Kotoko’s captain, signed a three-year contract with the Sudanese team in August 2022 for a starting salary of about US$150,000. He still has two more years left on his Al Hilal deal.

Due to the political upheaval in Sudan, Imoro and fellow Ghanaian David Abagna briefly returned to Ghana in June. On Friday, June 30, he rejoined his teammates to get ready for the new season.
