The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) Limited has attributed several power outages in the Greater Accra region to Tuesday’s rainstorm.
In a statement, the power distributor assured its customers that efforts are underway to swiftly restore power to affected areas.
“Customers should please note that our engineers are working assiduously to restore power supply to affected customers,” the statement read.
The ECG urged affected customers to report outages by contacting the ECG call centre at 0302611611, visiting the nearest ECG office or reaching out via the company’s official social media handles.
Acknowledging the inconvenience caused by the outages, the ECG expressed regret over the situation and assured customers of their commitment to resolving the issue.
