Dreams FC settles on Accra Sports Stadium as home venue for CAF Confederation Cup games

Dreams FC have settled on the Accra Sports Stadium as their home venue for the upcoming CAF Confederations Cup campaign, the Administrative manager of the club Mohammed Ameenu Shardow has revealed.

The Still Believe secured a spot in the competition after winning the Ghanaian FA Cup. Following a series of deliberations, the leadership of the club reached a consensus to participate in Africa for the first time in its history.

In an interview with Kessben FM, Shardow disclosed his outfit will be staging their home games at the Accra Sports Stadium considering the requirement set by the continental football governing body (CAF).

The Still Believe secured a spot in the competition after winning the Ghanaian FA Cup. After careful deliberation, the board and management of the team decided to embark on the Africa expedition.

“When CAF came for the inspection, they chose certain venues that are suitable for CAF competitions. According to the regulations, during the preliminary round of the competition, the rules are flexible. They tighten it when you progress to the group stages. For now, we have identified the Accra Sports Stadium as the venue for our Africa campaign,” he said.
