A four-year-old boy has reportedly drowned in a well at Kwahu Tafo in the Eastern Region.
The incident happened in the afternoon of Wednesday, April 10, 2024.
According to local sources, the young boy went to fetch water from the well with a bucket.
However, the volume of the water made the bucket heavy, and the weight pulled him into the well.
Witnesses recounted the heartbreaking scene as other children present at the time rushed home in tears, alerting the family to the harrowing incident.
The body of the boy was subsequently retrieved.
However, as of the time of filing the report, police were yet to transport the body to the morgue.
