GES condemns disturbing assault video involving Adisadel College students

The Ghana Education Service(GES) has reacted to a disturbing video of assault involving students of Adisadel College.

The video, which depicts a student violently attacking another student, has gone viral on social media and has sparked outrage across the country.

It has also raised concerns about the well-being of students in educational institutions.

A statement from GES has expressed deep concern over the incident and strongly condemned the barbaric act perpetrated by the culprits.

“We applaud the school authorities for taking swift action to suspend the culprit pending further investigation,” the statement said.

The GES has also instructed the Regional Director of Education to closely cooperate with the school authorities and relevant law enforcement agencies to investigate for appropriate action.

The service further stressed its commitment to ensuring a safe and secure environment for students.

Meanwhile, the school authorities have suspended the culprit and the housemaster in charge of the students pending further investigations.
