The Black Stars of Ghana have maintained their position in the latest Coca-Cola FIFA ranking, remaining the 59th in the world and 11th in Africa.

The Black Stars lost some 4.88 points in the June rankings.

However, it did not affect the Stars’ position on the table, keeping their 11th-place ranking in Africa and 59th in the world.

Globally, there are no changes in the top 10, which is made up solely of European and South American teams.

Argentina (1st) remain at the top of the pile, with the other two podium places occupied by France (2nd) and Brazil (3rd), closely followed by England (4th), Belgium (5th) and Croatia (6th).

Morocco remains the top-ranked team in Africa (13th global), followed by Senegal(18), Tunisia(31), Algeria (33) and Egypt (34), completing the top 5.

Nigeria, Cameroon, Mali, La Cote d’Ivoire, and Burkina Faso make up the rest of the top 10 African countries in the rankings.

Ghana played only one game in June 2023, failing to beat Madagascar in a 0-0 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

In June, the Ghana Black Stars made headway by climbing one spot from the 60th to 59th position.
