Girlfriend of Kikibees restaurant owner arrested in connection with his death

One person has been arrested in connection with the murder of businessman Bennet Adomah Agyekum, owner of the famous restaurant Kikibees in Accra.

A statement from the police issued on Monday, October 9, has identified the suspect as Yandeh Joof, believed to be the girlfriend of the late Agyekum.

According to the police, the deceased was discovered in a critical condition, lying in a pool of blood at a residence in Madina on Sunday, October 8.

Following the discovery, he was promptly rushed to the hospital for medical treatment; however, he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The body of the deceased has been transferred to the police hospital morgue for preservation and an autopsy.

The investigation into the circumstances of his death is ongoing.

The police further stated that the suspect, Yandeh Joof, is actively cooperating with investigators.
