Hearts of Oak pull plug on deal to sign former Kotoko goalkeeper – Reports

Source The Ghana Report

Ghana Premier League powerhouse Hearts of Oak have withdrawn their bid to sign goalkeeper Kwame Baah, as reported by local media.

The former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper had been in talks to join the Phobians during the ongoing second transfer window, having trained with Abdul Rahim Bashiru’s side to address their goalkeeping concerns.

Negotiations, however, faced a significant hurdle as additional fees and payments demanded by Baah’s representatives proved insurmountable.

Consequently, Hearts of Oak have opted to step away from the potential deal. Despite the setback, the club maintains an interest in Kwame Baah but is actively exploring alternative options to bolster their squad.

While there remains a slim possibility for the situation to change, contingent on a shift in Baah’s representative stance, the current status indicates that Kwame Baah will not be joining Hearts of Oak.

The club‘s struggles from last season are rolling on with the Phobians finding it hard to come by victories.
