I’m ready for marrige but not at the expense of my career – Georgina Ibe

Popular Nollywood actress Georgina Ibeh says she is all ready for marriage, but she’s clear that she won’t give up her thriving career for it.

The talented actress, who is currently one of the most sought-after faces in the Nigerian movie industry, emphasized the importance of finding a partner who not only understands her love for acting but also supports her aspirations.

The Imo State-born actress, renowned for her striking curves and on-screen presence, opened up about her thoughts on marriage during an exclusive conversation with NollyNow.

The Ladies in Power star, who lost her father in 2020, draws inspiration from her parents’ long-lasting marriage, stating, “I believe so much in marriage and having kids.”

While she remains single at the moment, Georgina Ibeh is no stranger to planning for the future. She has laid the groundwork for a post-marriage career transition with her YouTube Channel, aptly named the “Georgina Ibeh Channel.” The channel, she revealed, is her “retirement plan” for when she eventually ties the knot. Ibeh envisions this venture as a way to balance her career and family life, acknowledging that marriage might entail a shift in her professional commitments.

“In the course of doing my work as an actress, some said I am intelligent, hardworking, and a good role model to many young ladies,” Georgina Ibeh shared. “Others said I appear to be outspoken and fearless when it comes to issues that affect other people.”

Ibeh’s success in the entertainment industry is undeniable, and she takes her roles seriously. “I play every role given to me in movies as if my life depends on it,” she admitted, showcasing her dedication to her craft.

Although she is a prominent figure on the screen, Georgina Ibeh described herself as more of an introvert in her personal life. “I love my space, I love to be alone most of the time,” she revealed. Her ability to switch between introversion and extroversion has added depth to her performances and, in her own words, allows her to “play [her] role and come out of the character as soon as [she is] done.”

Georgina Ibeh’s journey in the entertainment industry began professionally in 2015, five years after her graduation from the Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri. Since then, she has graced the screens in popular TV series such as “The Patriot,” “Super Story,” “This Life,” “The Benjamin,” and many more.
