Generally, drinking water before bed is good for our bodies. Hydration even while sleeping is important for the regeneration and detoxification of our body, as well as for the proper functioning of organs and systems. Drinking water before bed can also lower blood pressure and regulate body temperature.

However, as always, the key lies in moderation. Although drinking a glass of water before going to bed is a good habit, we should not overdo it. It is recommended to drink no more than one glass of water half an hour before bed to avoid waking up at night. Some experts even recommend drinking your last glass of water two hours before going to bed.

However, hydrating yourself thoroughly right before bed may be risky. A full bladder will definitely make itself felt and instead of resting peacefully in a deep sleep, we will be forced to go to the toilet at night.
