This marks the Continuous Professional Development Day for teachers.

The teachers will undergo training and also acquire Professional skills and development today.

“As part of GES efforts to improve its workforce, Continuous Professional Development (CPD) has been adopted into the Academic calendar to allow teachers upgrade themselves with the requisite knowledge and skills in the teaching profession”, a statement signed by Head of Public Relations Unit of the service, Cassandra Twum Ampofo stated.

The statement further noted, that the CPD Day will be held four times in a year with this being the maiden edition.

It has however urged Parents and Guardians to take note of this development and act accordingly.
