Seven armed robbers have robbed and shot two employees of a gas station in Gomoa Besiase.
The incident happened around 9:oopm on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.
Information gathered indicates that the victims were shot when they tried to oppose the robbers.
The robbers took away an undisclosed amount of money and fired several live bullets to prevent residents from approaching them.
According to an eyewitness, Charlotte Eyiah, she initially thought it was a gas explosion.
She said that when she rushed out of her shop, she saw the workers lying in a pool of blood and called for help.
No arrests have been made yet.
The victims, who are in critical condition, are currently receiving treatment at Agona Swedru Government Hospital.
