Video of police officer feeding poor hungry man goes viral
An act of kindness by a police officer has got social media buzzing with lots of reactions.
Officer Frank Asamoah in the viral video was seen feeding a man in tattered clothes. He fed him with fufu with soup.
The officer who shared the incident on Facebook said that on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at about 5:15 PM local time, a call came through from the control center asking him to go assist a fellow at Community 19 in Spintex, Accra.
He together with his team found the man believed to be in his fifties lying almost lifeless on the shoulders of the road.
Soon after he was moved to a safer place, the destitute old man who laid unconscious opened his eyes.
“He opened his eyes and I then asked him what is wrong with him. Not being able to speak, he then made a sign indicating he is hungry. I got him food and fed him” Officer Asamoah’s Facebook post read.
Seated on the bare ground looking frail with his legs stretched and crossed, the man was fed slowly and with joy by the good Samaritan Police Officer.
This single act of kindness has been shared over 1,500 times with over 400 reactions on his page.
