WAFU B U20 Girls Cup: Please come and support us – Black Princesses captain Stella Nyamekye appeals
The captain of the Black Princesses, Stella Nyamekye is confident that the team will beat their counterpart from Ivory Coast this weekend.
In a video, she appealed to Ghanaians to troop to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Saturday to cheer the team to victory in the second Group A match of the WAFU Zone B U20 Girls tournament.
“We are pleading with the people of Ghana and the people of Kumasi, to come and support us this Saturday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium so that we can win our match against Ivory Coast and continue fighting for the trophy,” Stella Nyamekye said.
The Ghana U20 Girls national team will take on the Ivory Coast U20 Girls national team tomorrow.
The game will kick off at 15:00gmt.
The Black Princesses already have three points and will advance to the semi-finals of the tournament with a draw in the next game.
