Black Queens attacker, Gifty Assifuah is upbeat ahead of Ghana’s game against Benin later today, October 31.
The Ghana women’s national team will host their counterpart from Benin in a crucial second leg fixture of the 2024 Olympic Games qualiifers.
Speaking at a pre-match press conference on Monday ahead of the game, Black Queens forward Gifty Assifuah said the team is ready for the battle.
She said together, the players are confident about getting another win today.
“You need to be ready to do whatever you want to do. Football is a passion so before you enter the field at least you need to be ready. If you are not ready you can’t be on the field to play. Togetherness brings win,” Gifty Assifuah said.
The game will kick off at 4 pm at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Black Queens after a 3-0 win from the first leg hold a big advantage ahead of the reverse fixture.
