Coronavirus: 696 more infected within 24 hours
Ghana’s coronavirus case has increased to 12,590 with 4,410 recoveries and 66 deaths.
There has been an increase of 397 active cases after the country recorded a total of 12,193 infections.
The number of recoveries has also increased by 84 and the death toll also went up by eight.
Active new cases stand at 8,114.
This update comes a day after pressure groups and the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the Ghana Medical Association, Dr. Paa Baidoo, accused the government of massaging the numbers.

The new cases are spread across the country with 32 from Greater Accra; 70 from Ashanti; 42 from Central; 34 from Savannah; 17 from Western; 11 from Eastern; 11 from Volta; 10 from Upper West; and two from Oti Region.
