Kweku Flick explains why he moved from one school to another

Hip-hop artiste and rapper, Kweku Flick, has opened up about his experience attending multiple senior high schools within a short span of three years.

The artiste, known for hit songs including Ewiase, Black Stars and Money in an interview shared that the reason behind his frequent school changes was because of his pursuit of music.

Kweku Flick, 22, revealed that he started his high school journey at Kumasi Senior High School but due to his growing passion for music, he found himself transferring from one school to another.

“The last one I attended was Assemblies of God High School. I started from Kumasi Senior High School and I went to Tweneboah Kodua and I went to Osei -Tutu then to Saint Hubert Seminary,” he pointed out.

Addressing the frequent changes, Kweku Flick born Andy Osei Sarfo was quick to emphasise that it was not due to being stubborn or unruly but rather because his love for music was constantly pulling him in different directions.

“It is the will of God, I wasn’t stubborn. My music was just moving me,” he shared

He mentioned that during his time at Saint Hubert’s, he met a friend who was already involved in music. This introduction led him to explore his own musical talents and eventually connect with a sound engineer.

“My first school I didn’t have plans of doing music so when I came to Saint Hubert’s I met a friend who was into music they introduced me to a sound engineer,” he said

However, Flick shared that his newfound interest in music did not sit well with the authorities at Saint Hubert’s, and he faced disciplinary actions as a result.

“They didn’t like it I was into music so I was sent to the disciplinary committee so that was the reason why I left to the next school,” he added.

Flick who is currently out with a new club banger, Rastaman, also expressed his belief that his journey through multiple schools was guided by the will of God.
