The Church of Pentecost, Darkuman Central Youth Ministry has donated items, worth over five thousand Ghana Cedis to the Chosen Home Orphanage, located in Darkuman, a suburb of Accra.

The items donated to the Chosen Home Orphanage include bags of rice, tissue, water, beverages, biscuits, soap, clothes, footwear, and others. The youth attached an undisclosed amount of money to the items presented to the management of the orphanage.

The District Youth Leader of the Darkuman, Elder Solomon Addo who presented the items on behalf of the Central Assembly Youth Ministry, headed by Deacon Appiah Nhyira noted that the gesture was a token of the members’ effort to improve the conditions of those in need.

The staff of the orphanage expressed gratitude to the youth ministry for their kind gesture.

“We are very grateful for the support. May the good Lord bless the entire members and the youth members, especially for remembering us on this May Day,” one of the caretakers noted.

Chosen Home Orphanage also rescues children who are found loitering in the ghettos because their parents are addicts and have been abandoned.
