Black Stars regroup for recovery training after narrow defeat to Nigeria

Black Stars, held a recovery training session today in Marrakech as they aim to regain their composure and tactical edge following a 2-1 loss to Nigeria in an international friendly.

The match played at the Grande de Stade Marrakech, saw the Super Eagles take an early lead through goals from Cyriel Dessers and Ademola Lookman.

Despite being a man down, the Black Stars showed resilience and managed to pull one back in the 95th minute through a penalty expertly converted by Jordan Ayew. However, the late goal was not enough to salvage a draw as Nigeria held on to secure the victory.

The Black Stars are now turning their attention to their next friendly match against Uganda, scheduled for Tuesday, March 26, 2024.

The team is using this recovery training session to analyze their performance, rectify mistakes, and strategize for the upcoming game.

The players and coaching staff are optimistic about bouncing back and showcasing their true potential in the next encounter.
